Infrared transmitter

NOTE: Infrared emitter can be seen at front edge of key.

Type 1



System operation - without immobilizer



Infrared receiver located in rear view mirror.

Pressing key lock/unlock button Fig. 1 [1] deactivates alarm, central locking and double locking system.

Holding key lock/unlock button Fig. 1 [1] in depressed position opens windows and then sunroof.

Pressing key double locking button Fig. 1 [2] within 15 seconds of locking vehicle activates alarm and double locking

system.

Holding key lock/unlock button Fig. 1 [1] or double locking button [2] in depressed position closes windows and then

sunroof.

If key lock/unlock button Fig. 1 [1] is released accidentally, proceed as follows:

Briefly press and release lock/unlock button Fig. 1 [1].

Press and hold lock/unlock button Fig. 1 [1].

Alarm system gradient sensor can be deactivated, proceed as follows (if fitted):

Briefly press key double locking button Fig. 1 [2] after activating alarm and double locking system.

Alarm system gradient sensor is switched off until alarm and double locking system are deactivated.



System operation - with immobilizer



Infrared receiver located in rear view mirror.

Pressing key unlock button Fig. 1 [2] deactivates alarm, central locking, immobilizer and double locking system.

Holding key lock button Fig. 1 [1] in depressed position closes windows and then sunroof.

If key lock button Fig. 1 [1] is released accidentally, proceed as follows:

Briefly press and release unlock button Fig. 1 [2].

Press and hold lock button Fig. 1 [1].

Alarm system gradient sensor can be deactivated, proceed as follows:

Briefly press key lock button Fig. 1 [1] after activating alarm, central locking, immobilizer and double locking system.

Alarm system gradient sensor is switched off until alarm, central locking, immobilizer and double locking system are

deactivated.

Programming

When

Key batteries completely discharged.

Key batteries not replaced within 60 seconds.

Key added or replaced.

DO NOT press remote control buttons during battery replacement.

How

Point key at infrared receiver located in rear view mirror. Distance from receiver: Less than 15 cm.

With immobilizer: Unlock vehicle using remote control.

Close driver's door.

Switch ignition ON and OFF.

Press and hold lock/unlock button Fig. 1 [1].

With immobilizer: Press and hold unlock button Fig. 1 [2].

Press double locking button Fig. 1 [2] briefly 3 times within 10 seconds keeping lock/unlock button [1] depressed.

With immobilizer: Press lock button Fig. 1 [1] briefly 3 times within 10 seconds keeping unlock button [2] depressed.

Release lock/unlock button Fig. 1 [1].

With immobilizer: Release unlock button Fig. 1 [2].

LED Fig. 1 [3] flashes slowly for 10 seconds.

Press lock/unlock or double locking button.

With immobilizer: Press lock or unlock button.

Central locking system locks and unlocks to indicate correct programming.

Repeat above procedure if LED does not flash or central locking system does not work.

NOTE: A maximum of 4 keys can be programmed. Carry out programming procedure for each key within 30 seconds.
